Ⅰ. Preface
The problem of trafficking in women has been becoming an outstanding social problem of China increasingly. However, trafficking in women assumes different situation in various areas. The article chooses three different minority areas to research. They are Shilicun Country in Jinping County (a typical poor minority area), Gelanghe Country in Menghai County (a relative poor minority area), Ala Country near the city of Kunming (a rich minority area).
Ⅱ.The characteristics of the trafficking in women in minority areas
1. The occurrence rate of the case of trafficking in women is high.
2. Many human beings traffickers and the victims are fellow villagers or relatives.
3. Trafficking in women happens with outflow of women.
4. Trafficking in women happens is not the main way of outflow of women.
5. The situation of trafficking in women is complicated.
6. It's very difficult to investigate and confirm the case of trafficking in women.
Ⅲ. The difference of the case of trafficking in women in different minority areas and an analysis of its causes
A. The problem of trafficking in women is different because of different social and economic situation.
1. Minority women in Ala County have never been trafficked.
2. The occurrence rate of the case of trafficking in women is high in Jinping County.
3. The outflow of women usually happens but the case of trafficking in women seldom happens in Menghai County.
B. An analysis of cases of difference of the case of trafficking in women in different areas
1. Different economic development and living conditions;
2. Different educational level of women;
3. Different women's status;
4.The influence of fellow villagers and relatives.
Ⅳ. Conclusion
We must take measures to prevent trafficking in women and normalize women's migration.
